Been asking various people about their personalities. Interesting to see how differently God made each of us and how we relate to each other.
These websites have a fairly basic test and description of each personality type. It’s helpful when working in groups and even in marriage to know what one’s inclinations are.

If you get a chance, let me know what type you are. It’ll be interesting to compare.
Daddy: ISTJ – extreme in high school, although more balanced now especially (NF).
Mommy: ESFP
Baby: probably somewhere in between.

We bought a bunch of persimmon and they were starting to go bad… so instead of trashing them, we did the next best thing… google persimmon recipes. We found this:
http://www.seasonalchef.com/persimmonrecipes.htm
Persimmon Rice Pudding
4 cups cooked rice
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup raisins
2 cups persimmon pulp
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg beaten
3/4 cup chopped nuts
Combine rice and pulp; set aside. Combine sugar, milk, flour, egg and vanilla.
Add rice mixture and mix well.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Pour into a greased 3 quart baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes or until set.
Serve hot or cold.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
We ate it hot with a scoop of ice cream on top. I think you call that a la mode… :)
