Summer 2010 – Baby Auntie’s b-day party… kiddie pool and slide.

This whole summer E1 was swimming with a swimsuit with built in floatation devices. But after buying a “prettier” swimsuit she decided to wear that one. Unfortunately it did not have those built in floaties. But in our amazement, she was able to wade in the water as well keep her head afloat for a long while. She was also able to swim a good length by herself.

Of course we were close by just in case. She’s still a bit afraid of putting her head in the water, but it took a lot of courage for her to enter the pool with no help. It scared us to no end, but also was a great joy seeing the improvement over the summer. (as well as LAST SUMMER)

Hopefully she wasn’t too scared and will be trying it again soon and hoping to take some vids of her swimming.

Swim on!

I guess when you got lots of little kids they are bound to get restless through a thirteen course dinner.

How can I be mad at my daughter who is so cute?

The next morning, mommy found her in our bedroom with an open jar of nail polish… I guess it was our fault for leaving it within her reach…

nail polish and kids do not mix

Warning: Kids and nail polish do not mix… especially if they are not being supervised…

Well, my brother is getting married in a few days. So we have getting ready for that… meaning we are cleaning our house. Memorial Day Weekend is going to be pretty intense. Hopefully we’ll get some of those pics up next week.

Here’s some wisdom from Jesus:

“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Learning that nodding means something… just not sure what that something means.
